Role Purpose

Ensure all beach and recreational area activities are completed in a timely and effective manner, maintaining high operational standards and exceptional guest service across all recreation facilities and amenities.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Follow all guidelines of the Recreation Department operational SOPs and task lists as provided.
• Organize, clean and maintain the entire recreation area and back offices.
• Carry out daily cleaning of the facility, plus weekly and monthly tasks as assigned by the Recreation Supervisor or Assistant Recreation Manager.
• Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned, stored and is secure when not in use.
• Take towels to and from the laundry ensuring adequate operational stock is maintained at all times.
• Set up workstations with necessary supplies along with maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work area at all times.
• Perform all tasks as detailed in daily task list and checklist.

Guest Service & Amenities

• Ensure excellent customer service and standards at all times and behave professionally when on and off duty.
• Focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous, and accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously.
• Provide amenities services to clubs and hotel guests as outlined in SOP or as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure that amenities are always available for guests.
• Maintain complete knowledge of Recreation's activities and events services.
• Develop a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel, in particular all sports and leisure activities and equipment.

Compliance & Financial Management

• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all company and department policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting or charging fees for Recreation.
• Drive revenues for the department.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Carry out other duties as required by management from time to time, such as but not limited to lateral service in other parts of the hotel and overnight cleaning.
• Participate in work-related project teams.
• Develop and maintain a strong working environment with other departments.
• Be prepared to assume other Recreation duties or responsibilities as requested by management.

• Willingness to perform lateral service in other hotel departments as needed.
