Role Purpose
Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and hotel standards while providing friendly, attentive, and professional service. Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service to create extraordinary moments for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and hotel standards.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, promotions, and products.
- Recommend beverages based on guest preferences and support upselling opportunities.
- Ensure beverages are consistently prepared and presented to the required standard.
Guest Experience & Communication
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests.
- Handle guest feedback and requests professionally and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with service colleagues, Kitchen, and other departments.
Bar Operations & Maintenance
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bar and service areas.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with requisitions, inventory, and stock rotation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of beverages, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and other operational requirements as assigned.
Compliance & Safety
- Process guest orders and bills accurately through the POS system.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, responsible beverage service, health and safety, and hotel procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender, preferably within a hotel, restaurant, or bar environment.
- Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, mocktails, and bar operations.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems is preferred.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.
