Role Overview

Bartender at Marriott, a position focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences through beverage service and support of food and beverage operations.

Role Purpose

To create memorable and unique guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages, taking initiative to support smooth food and beverage operations, and ensuring every transaction feels like part of a thoughtfully crafted experience.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

• Prepare and serve beverages to guests with attention to quality and presentation.
• Deliver a wide range of services to support food and beverage operations.
• Ensure transactions feel like part of the overall guest experience.

Operations Support

• Set tables and assist the kitchen as needed.
• Clean work areas and replenish supplies to maintain operational readiness.
• Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Workplace Standards

• Create and maintain a safe workplace.
• Follow company policies and procedures consistently.
• Uphold quality standards in all work.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food and beverage environment preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
