Role Purpose

Provide professional bartending service to hotel guests by preparing and serving beverages, explaining menu items, making recommendations, and ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction in a high-energy team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Guest Engagement

• Welcome guests and inform them about specials or new beverage items.
• Answer questions, accept orders and payments from guests.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Make suitable beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Ensure guests are comfortable and satisfied.

Beverage Preparation & Quality

• Prepare requested drinks including mocktails, cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, soft drinks and specialty beverages.
• Ensure beverages are prepared according to standard recipes, presentation guidelines and appropriate serving measures.
• Learn about cocktail preparation, beverage combinations, spirits, wines, beers, garnishing and presentation techniques to improve beverage quality.
• Serve items to guests.

Bar Operations & Maintenance

• Clean and restock the bar and service areas.
• Empty trash and sanitize equipment, glassware and utensils.
• Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Take inventory and replenish beverages, garnishes, glassware and other bar supplies behind the counter.
• Check stock levels and assist with proper storage and rotation of beverages and bar supplies.
• Update signage, beverage displays and bar presentations to attract guests.

Compliance & Standards

• Adhere to all food and beverage safety regulations, responsible alcohol service requirements and quality controls.

Team Collaboration

• Work as part of a fun, high-energy team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a similar Bartender role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry.
• Ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Quality-oriented with focus on details.
• High performance standards.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Technical proficiency in related software, preferable.
