Role Overview

Barista (Lobby Lounge) at The Mangroves Abu Dhabi, LXR Hotels & Resorts, part of Hilton.

Role Purpose

Prepare and serve beverages while delivering exceptional hospitality experiences that brighten guests' stays. You will operate bar equipment, manage inventory, process payments, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions
• Proactively look for ways to make guest experiences special
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve coffee, specialty coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and presentation standards

Bar Operations

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and all beverage-related equipment in good condition
• Report and coordinate with management on required repairs or equipment replacement
• Manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of all beverage-related items

Payment Processing

• Use the point-of-sale system to correctly handle cash, credit and debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers
• Process payments efficiently and accurately

Compliance & Safety

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
• Ensure the highest standards of guest and team member well-being

Skills & Competencies

• Beverage preparation and espresso machine operation
• Point-of-sale system proficiency
