InterContinental Fujairah Resort is a five-star luxury property situated on the shoreline of Al Aqah Beach, beneath the Hajjar Mountains. The resort features 190 rooms, indoor and outdoor event space, restaurants, and a bar. The staff represents over 30 languages and countries, creating an international five-star resort presence.

Role Purpose

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with hotel standards and recipes while delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting smooth bar operations.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Welcome guests and deliver warm, personalized service at all times.
• Recommend beverages to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.

Beverage Preparation & Quality

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, coffee, tea, wines, beers, and specialty drinks in line with hotel standards.
• Maintain high standards of beverage quality and presentation.

Operations & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar.
• Maintain proper stock rotation, storage, and handling of all beverage products and ingredients.
• Complete opening and closing duties while complying with HACCP, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel policies.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with the Bar, Restaurant, and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in hotels in a similar position.
• Food service experience with general knowledge of Bar and restaurant operations preferred.
• Basic reading and writing.
• Must be at the minimum age to serve alcohol in line with any local legislative requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Good command of English language, both oral and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
