Role Overview

Banquet Captain at Fa Evax Saasfaprod1. This role oversees all banquet service operations during events, serving as the primary on-floor leader responsible for seamless execution, team performance, and guest satisfaction.

Role Purpose

Supervise and coordinate all banquet service activities during events, ensuring seamless execution from set-up to breakdown while maintaining IHG Luxury standards of elegance, precision, and personalization.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Operations

• Supervise and coordinate all banquet service activities during events, ensuring seamless execution from set-up to breakdown.
• Monitor service timing, food quality, presentation, and beverage service throughout events.
• Ensure function rooms are set according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including table layouts, décor, AV, and special requests.
• Ensure service delivery reflects IHG Luxury standards of elegance, precision, and personalization.

Client & Guest Management

• Act as the primary on-floor contact for clients during events, anticipating needs and resolving concerns discreetly and professionally.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate when necessary.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, train, and motivate banquet associates to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event reviews with service teams.
• Allocate staffing efficiently according to event requirements and business levels.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate closely with Culinary, Stewarding, Sales, and AV teams to ensure smooth operations.

Compliance & Standards

• Enforce hygiene, health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Ensure compliance with IHG policies, luxury brand standards, and local regulations.

Administrative Support

• Assist with inventory control, equipment handling, and damage prevention.
• Support Banquet Manager with reports, staffing schedules, and performance feedback.
