B2 Instructor

Role Overview

B2 Instructor position at Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. Fixed-term contract.

Role Purpose

Deliver technical instruction and training in H145 helicopter maintenance to both entry-level and experienced maintenance technicians, developing curriculum and training materials while supervising trainees during evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Training Delivery

• Instruct maintenance technicians in H145 aircraft systems and procedures.
• Develop and deliver on-the-job training (OJT) curriculum for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Supervise new maintenance technicians directly during training evaluations.

Curriculum & Training Materials Development

• Develop teaching aids including charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.
• Create technical training course materials.

Records & Compliance

• Maintain training records using Microsoft Office Suite in adherence with PSS/GSAC policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity as foundation for the company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum diploma in avionics specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field/specialty (minimum 2 years).
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in H145 maintenance (military or civilian).
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a technical instructor.
• Type rating in H145 from an approved OEM organization.
• Experience developing and instructing OJT curriculum in respective field for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Experience supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• 3 years in a technical writing position is preferred.
• EASA Part 66 or FAA license is preferred.
• Level-7 qualification in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Instructor qualification or course certificate from a recognized organization (mandatory).
• English language proficiency (listening, speaking, reading and writing) at minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers; English proficiency will be evaluated during PSS/GSAC interview.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and office automation tools.
• Technical writing capability.
