Role Overview

B2 Instructor at Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. Fixed-term professional position.

Role Purpose

Deliver technical instruction and training in H145 helicopter maintenance to fresh and advanced maintenance technicians, developing curriculum and training materials while supervising trainees during evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Training Delivery

• Instruct on-the-job training (OJT) curriculum in avionics and H145 maintenance specialties for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Develop and deliver technical training courses using structured curriculum.
• Supervise new maintenance technicians directly during training evaluations.

Curriculum & Training Materials Development

• Develop on-the-job training curriculum in respective field and specialty.
• Create teaching aids including charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training.
• Maintain training records using Microsoft Office Suite in accordance with PSS/GSAC policies and procedures.

Compliance & Integrity

• Demonstrate awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity as foundation for Company success, reputation, and sustainable growth.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in avionics specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field or specialty (minimum 2 years).
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in H145 Maintenance (Military or Civilian).
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Technical Instructor.
• Type rating in H145 by an approved organization from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
• Experience developing and instructing OJT curriculum for both fresh maintenance technicians and advanced maintenance technicians with experience.
• Experience directly supervising maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• Instructor qualification or course certificate from a recognized organization.
• EASA Part 66 or FAA License preferred.
• Technical writing position experience of 3 years preferred.
• Level-7 qualification in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• English language proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers; English proficiency will be evaluated during PSS/GSAC interview if equivalent certification not held.
• Technical writing.
• Development of training aids and curriculum materials.
• Working knowledge of office automation tools including Microsoft Office Suite.
