B1 Instructor

Role Overview

B1 Instructor position at Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. Fixed term contract.

Role Purpose

Deliver technical instruction and training in H145 helicopter maintenance to fresh and advanced maintenance technicians, developing curriculum and training materials while supervising trainees during evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Instruction

• Instruct technical courses in H145 maintenance to maintenance technicians at varying experience levels.
• Supervise new maintenance technicians directly during training evaluations.

Curriculum & Training Materials Development

• Develop and instruct On-the-Job Training (OJT) curriculum in respective field for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Create teaching aids including charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.

Administration & Documentation

• Maintain training records in adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures using Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Aircraft maintenance specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field/specialty (minimum 2 years).
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in H145 maintenance (military or civilian).
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Technical Instructor.
• Type rating in H145 from an approved organization from the OEM.
• Experience in developing and instructing OJT curriculum in respective field for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Experience in developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.
• Experience directly supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• 3 years in a technical writing position (preferred).
• Instructor qualification or course certificate from a recognized organization (mandatory).
• EASA Part 66 or FAA License (preferred).
• Level-7 qualification in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of office automation tools and MS Office.
• Technical writing capability.
• English language proficiency: minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers; English language skills will be evaluated during PSS/GSAC interview.
