Role Overview

B1 Instructor at Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. This is a fixed-term professional position.

Role Purpose

Deliver technical instruction and training to aircraft maintenance technicians on H145 helicopter systems and maintenance procedures, developing curriculum and training materials while supervising and evaluating trainee performance.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Training Delivery

• Instruct maintenance technicians in H145 aircraft systems and maintenance techniques.
• Develop and deliver On-the-Job Training (OJT) curriculum for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians in the respective specialty field.
• Supervise new maintenance technicians directly during training evaluations.

Training Materials & Curriculum Development

• Develop teaching aids including charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.
• Create training documentation in adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures.

Administration & Records

• Maintain training records using Microsoft Office Suite in accordance with PSS/GSAC policies and procedures.
• Ensure all training documentation and evaluations comply with organizational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field or specialty (minimum 2 years).
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in H145 Maintenance, either Military or Civilian.
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Technical Instructor.
• Type rating in H145 issued by an approved organization from the OEM.
• Instructor qualification or course certificate from a recognized organization.
• Experience in developing and instructing OJT curriculum for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Experience in developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides.
• Experience directly supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• Technical writing experience of 3 years preferred.
• EASA Part 66 or FAA License preferred.
• Level-7 qualification in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and office automation tools.
• Technical writing capability.
• English language proficiency: minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers, or English skills evaluated during PSS/GSAC interview.
