Associate Project Manager - Engineering

Role Overview

Associate Project Manager - Engineering at KBR, responsible for planning and execution of medium-sized engineering projects or segments of larger projects, typically with total installed costs under $100 million.

Role Purpose

Plan, organize, coordinate and control projects in accordance with established company policies, procedures, systems and requirements. Maintain day-to-day client contact and communication to ensure client satisfaction while exercising budgetary accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Own all phases of planning and execution on medium-sized projects or project segments.
• Coordinate project activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems and requirements.

Client Management

• Lead day-to-day contact and communication with the client.
• Focus on delivering client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders.

Financial Accountability

• Exercise budgetary accountability and controls for assigned projects.

Proposal Development

• May serve as the proposal manager for medium-sized projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Average experience of 15–20 years.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of the respective industry.
• Project management planning and execution.
• Client relationship management.
