Role Overview
Associate Domain Support at QNB in Doha, Qatar. The incumbent manages assignments and resources within the Domain Support department, reporting to the Senior Manager, Domain Support, and acting as an assistant to the Head of Domain Support.

Role Purpose
Support the management and maintenance of QNB systems to ensure smooth operations and provide technical support to QNB employees. Shadow the Senior Manager in assigned projects, deliverables, skills development, communications, and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Management & Support
- Ensure all areas of the Bank are supported with proper computer systems in accordance with IT standards.
- Manage and maintain assigned system domains across five areas: Microsoft Infrastructure Services, Microsoft Application Services, Security Infrastructure Services, Citrix Infrastructure Services, and Cloud Infrastructure Services.
- Update system profiles periodically with new enhancements and upgrades.
- Install and validate endpoint agents including Anti-Virus, Ivanti, SentinelOne (S1), and Algorithm.
- Apply security patches and close vulnerabilities.
- Perform antivirus installation.
- Perform Disaster Recovery (DR) simulations.
- Perform backup verifications.
- Follow up closely within the team and ensure all GIS agents are installed.
Domain Administration
- Manage Domain 1: Microsoft Infrastructure Services, including Active Directory, Exchange, SCOM, Windows Server components, and related systems.
- Manage Domain 2: Microsoft Application Services (.NET Platform), including QNB Workflow, In-House Applications, Move-IT (SFTP), and related systems.
- Manage Domain 3: Security Infrastructure Services, including Trellix Endpoint Defense, Antivirus, DLP, FIM, Ivanti Patch Management, and related systems.
- Manage Domain 4: Citrix Infrastructure Services, including Citrix XenApp, Remote Access, Citrix VDI, and related systems.
- Manage Domain 5: Cloud Infrastructure Services, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and related systems.
Operations & Compliance
- Manage CRs/TRS/SARFs.
- Ensure compliance with turnaround time (SLA) requirements.
- Maintain punctuality and work extended hours when required.
- Implement KPIs and best practices for Associate, Domain Support.
- Promote cost consciousness, productivity, and efficiency.
- Act within delegated authority limits.
- Comply with QNB IPMD requirements.
Customer & Stakeholder Support
- Assist customers with all queries related to Bank products and services.
- Maintain activities according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and units.
- Provide timely and accurate information to External Auditors, Internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control, and Risk.
- Provide support for users, including guidelines, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
People & Development
- Support recruitment activities.
- Provide motivation and guidance to employees.
- Reinforce performance standards and adherence to QNB values and mission.
- Identify opportunities for personal professional development.
- Identify and facilitate development opportunities for staff.
Learning & Knowledge Management
- Stay current with industry developments and Microsoft technologies.
- Stay updated on Microsoft operating systems, applications, and infrastructure technologies.
- Pursue professional certifications such as MCSA and MCSE.
- Conduct self-study through official documentation, whitepapers, online resources, and technical forums.
- Attend workshops, conferences, webinars, and training programs.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Contribute to internal documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Maintain familiarity with Microsoft official documentation and support resources.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in a related field.
