Role Overview

Associate - Content at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF Retail, Head Office Jordan.

Role Purpose

The Associate - Content manages all content for a specific product category on the online platform, ensuring accurate, timely, and optimized product data and promotional content that enhances the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development and Management

• Develop and ensure implementation of online content for specific category on the online platform.
• Produce content for online platform including product descriptions, price, scheduled delivery, origin, and ingredients as relevant.
• Review and update content developed prior to publication on digital channels to ensure consistency and accuracy of content design.

Content Operations

• Ensure all content for the respective category on the online platform is updated, relevant, and published in a timely manner.
• Track and analyze progress of different products available on the online platform for the respective category to ensure low-demand, out-of-stock, or unavailable products are unpublished.
• Gather information related to products from the Merchandising Department and suppliers to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.

Strategy and Customer Engagement

• Manage the online presence of product categories and associated promotional campaigns and provide insights to management for existing and prospective customers.
• Develop understanding of various target audiences for promotional initiatives and tailor content and communication style based on customer segmentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in E-Commerce or Business Administration.
• 1–2 years of experience in website content creation and management, with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities.
• Retail industry experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Sound understanding of social media channels and developing online content for different platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to mine large sets of data for actionable insights.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.
