Role Overview
Assistant - Store Keeper at Kout Food Group, responsible for efficiently managing the storage, distribution, and documentation of inventory for multiple food brands.

Kout Food Group operates multiple food brands and franchises with centralized store keeping operations.
Role Purpose
To ensure 100% stock accuracy and minimize wastage through effective inventory control, maintain optimum stock levels to support uninterrupted restaurant operations, and lead and develop the store team to support smooth kitchen and restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for multiple franchises.
- Conduct daily stock counts and cycle counts.
- Identify slow-moving, expired, or excess stock and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with procurement and restaurant managers for accurate order placement.
- Oversee daily monitoring of stock movement.
Receiving & Dispatch
- Supervise the receiving of goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure goods are stored under the correct conditions: dry, chill, and frozen.
- Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices during rotation.
- Dispatch materials to restaurants based on requisitions and schedules.
- Prepare dispatch orders for timely delivery.
Team Management
- Supervise and guide Team Leaders and Store Team Members.
- Allocate tasks and monitor shift schedules.
- Conduct regular briefings and on-the-job training.
- Lead team meetings and performance discussions.
- Promote a safe and positive working environment.
Documentation & System Updates
- Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP system.
- Ensure timely data entry for receiving, dispatching, and adjustments.
- Prepare reports on inventory, spoilage, and consumption.
- Perform stock reporting and reconciliation.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure store layout and processes comply with food safety and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for hygiene checks and audits.
- Implement corrective actions based on audit feedback.
- Oversee housekeeping and pest control oversight in storage areas.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3β5 years in store or inventory management, preferably in food and beverage or retail.
Skills & Competencies
- ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Food Safety certification (preferred).
- Inventory Management certification (preferred).
