Assistant Room Service Manager

Role Overview

Assistant Room Service Manager at Hilton. This role supports the management of daily operations for one of our hotel dining outlets, delivering memorable guest experiences and spreading the warmth of hospitality.

Role Purpose

To assist in managing room service operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, team development, and compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Assist with managing outlet operations, including guest service standards, product quality, inventory, cost controls, and profitability.
• Enforce policies and procedures across all service delivery.
• Monitor service and product quality in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager.

Guest Experience & Service Quality

• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to address guest feedback and resolve issues.
• Support improvements to the dining experience.
• Monitor service standards to ensure consistency.

Team Development & Supervision

• Supervise and support team members.
• Provide coaching to team members.
• Assist with performance evaluations.
• Contribute to professional development initiatives under the Manager's guidance.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Uphold service standards and operational excellence through team development.

Revenue & Marketing

• Help implement marketing strategies and promotions.
• Support up-selling techniques to boost food and beverage sales.
• Contribute to revenue initiatives.

Compliance & Safety

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain compliance with alcohol awareness regulations.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing.
