Assistant / Associate Professor Pediatric Dentistry

Role Overview

Ajman University seeks a highly qualified Assistant or Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry for a full-time position in the College of Dentistry.

Role Purpose

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong record of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical supervision, pediatric patient care, and scholarly research, with a commitment to academic excellence, professional development, accreditation standards, and institutional service.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Clinical Instruction

• Deliver lectures and clinical instruction in Pediatric Dentistry.
• Develop and update course syllabi and teaching materials in line with CAA standards.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in pre-clinical and clinical settings.
• Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care and supervise students in clinics.

Supervision & Mentoring

• Supervise student research projects and postgraduate dissertations.
• Contribute to student admissions, examinations, academic advising, and mentoring.

Research & Scholarship

• Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

Curriculum & Accreditation

• Assist in curriculum development, accreditation (CAA), and quality assurance processes.

Institutional Service

• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Support departmental strategic planning and College initiatives.
• Engage in community outreach and professional development programs.
• Participate in faculty development and continuing education programs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Eligibility for licensure or current licensure with MOHAP (UAE).
