Armament Technical Instructor at BAE Systems.

Role Purpose

Deliver high-quality technical instruction and training on armament systems to military personnel and defense professionals, ensuring they develop the knowledge and practical competencies required to operate, maintain, and support advanced weapons platforms safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Training Delivery

• Develop and deliver comprehensive technical training programs on armament systems and equipment.
• Conduct classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions.
• Create and maintain training materials, lesson plans, and instructional content.
• Adapt training delivery to accommodate different learning styles and experience levels.

Technical Support & Guidance

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to trainees on armament system operation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot armament-related technical issues and support problem resolution.
• Mentor personnel in the safe handling and deployment of armament systems.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Evaluate trainee performance and competency against established standards.
• Develop and administer assessments, tests, and practical evaluations.
• Document training outcomes and maintain records of trainee progress.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance training content and delivery methods.
• Stay current with technical advances and updates in armament systems.
• Incorporate feedback from trainees and stakeholders into training programs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Significant experience with armament systems, weapons platforms, or related defense technology.
• Proven track record in a technical training or instructional role.
• Knowledge of military or defense sector operations and procedures.

• Strong technical knowledge of armament systems and equipment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
