AE - Technical Engineer

Role Overview

AE - Technical Engineer at Group AMANA. The role combines technical engineering support with junior team oversight and cross-departmental coordination to ensure quality delivery of construction projects.

Role Purpose

To provide technical engineering expertise, oversee junior technical staff, manage design documentation and site compliance, and coordinate between engineering, project management, procurement, and site teams to deliver integrated project solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Review

• Develop and review detailed technical designs and specifications for construction projects.
• Review and approve engineering designs, documentation, and reports.
• Perform basic calculations and analysis to support engineering decisions.
• Review material submittal and pre-qualification for engineering aspects.

Site & Compliance

• Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
• Lead shop drawings preparation and issuance of SFC drawings to site.

Documentation & Records

• Maintain organized records and documentation for engineering projects.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to engineering activities.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Coordinate with BIM team for timely updating of model.

Procurement & Bidding

• Prepare bid packages for material and sub-contractor as applicable.
• Update procurement team for any addendum required for bid package.

Team Leadership & Support

• Oversee and guide junior technical engineers and provide technical support as needed.
