Role Purpose
Champion a culture of safety excellence and environmental stewardship across infrastructure operations in Abu Dhabi. Provide strategic guidance on occupational health and safety matters, ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international best practices, and drive continuous improvement and proactive risk awareness throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Oversight
- Monitor and enforce SHE requirements across roads and infrastructure construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with Aldar OSHMS, UAE regulations, and project-specific HSE requirements.
- Review contractor safety performance and ensure adherence to approved method statements and risk assessments.
Inspection, Audit & Investigation
- Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Training & Awareness
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to promote a positive safety culture.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare SHE reports and maintain compliance documentation.
- Support continuous safety improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of SHE/OSH experience on major roads and infrastructure projects, including utilities, drainage, sewerage, and potable water networks.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, OSHAD-SF, and Aldar OSH competency requirements.
- Proven experience in safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Experience implementing and monitoring SHE Management Systems and contractor compliance.

- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
