Role Purpose
Ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and seamless financial processes across the hotel. Lead daily accounting operations, supervise a small accounting team, and support the property's financial success through strong internal controls and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting Operations
- Oversee daily accounting tasks including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Review daily revenue reports and ensure accuracy across all hotel outlets.
- Manage supplier payments, reconciliations, and credit collections.
Financial Controls & Auditing
- Supervise Income Audit activities and ensure strong internal controls.
Reporting & Planning
- Support payroll review and monthly financial reporting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and support a small accounting team.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2 years hotel accounting experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of hospitality systems: Opera, Micros, SunSystems, and similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills.
