Accounts Receivable Accountant

Role Overview

Accounts Receivable Accountant at Hilton. This role supports the Hotels team in delivering exceptional hospitality through timely and accurate billing and payment collections.

Role Purpose

Process invoices and manage accounts receivable to ensure accurate billing, timely payment collection, and positive cash flow while maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice and Commission Processing

• Generate accurate invoices and ensure timely payment or deduction of travel agent commissions.

Account Maintenance

• Post charges and credits promptly and reconcile subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger.
• Maintain account accuracy across all customer records.

Payment Collection and Monitoring

• Follow up on outstanding balances to maintain positive cash flow and reduce overdue accounts.
• Monitor and collect payments from customers.

Dispute Resolution

• Investigate account discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve disputes.
• Resolve billing issues promptly.

Reporting and Analysis

• Issue timely account statements, targeting daily delivery.
• Prepare and send statements to customers.
• Calculate monthly Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and assist with credit management reporting to support timely collections and financial accuracy.

Transaction Review and Compliance

• Audit previous day's charges for accuracy, proper documentation, and contractual compliance.
• Review daily transactions.
