Account Manager-Aviation Partner Solutions

Role Overview

Account Manager - Aviation Partner Solutions at Transguard Group in Dubai. This role maintains, retains, enhances, and grows revenue across client contracts while forming strategic partnerships with current and potential aviation sector clients to ensure sustained delivery of substantial and consistent growth.

Role Purpose

Serve as the main point of contact for the dedicated Operations team, ensuring data integrity and accuracy are maintained at all times. Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders including finance, payroll, demand planning, recruitment, transport, accommodation, and HR services to drive account performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance

• Develop business growth of the account by identifying new opportunities while understanding the commercial aspects of the contract.
• Manage service delivery within the boundaries of the contract.
• Prepare quarterly reports with monthly operational data to support review of financial performance.
• Monitor billable versus non-billable staff allocation.
• Report any variations to the contract to the Divisional Manager and ensure these are reviewed and agreed with the client.
• Ensure overall performance of the department as prescribed in business units' scorecard.
• Guarantee accuracy of monthly billing and timely collection of invoices.
• Maintain accountability for client Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) performance.

Customer Relationship Management

• Develop strong working relationships with clients through regular client meetings to ensure smooth contract execution and identify further business opportunities.
• Undertake site visits to view staff performance and discuss or resolve any issues raised by the client regarding service quality.
• Monitor that service delivered aligns with contract terms and satisfies both the client and Business Unit Head.
• Plan ahead and work with the client on new requirements to successfully manage any future peaks and troughs.
• Ensure work schedules developed for staff match client requirements.

Operations & Process Management

• Monitor all processes applied by each team member to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure the team is managed in line with all Performance Manager SOPs throughout their employee lifecycle.
• Manage operations team members and employees on site, including facilitating regular staff meetings, conducting site visits to monitor performance, and motivating staff.
• Resolve staff issues by liaising with relevant departments.
• Monitor absenteeism and attrition.
• Deliver induction training and other mandatory trainings as applicable.
• Plan mobilization of staff according to agreed timescales with the client.

Continuous Improvement & Development

• Establish an environment that strives for continuous improvement by encouraging employee contributions.
• Maximize employee potential by devising training and development strategies.
• Encourage cross-team activities and participation with a coaching and mentoring approach.
• Provide constructive ideas for process and procedure improvements that deliver further efficiencies and service enhancement.
• Monitor absence and accident rates and undertake any required corrective actions.
• Monitor staff performance and nominate staff for the employee of the month award if they match the criteria.
• Monitor that work schedules are being followed by the operations team.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience within a similar industry.
• Bachelor's University Degree in Finance or a related field.
• Financial acumen (a plus).
• IATA or IOSH qualification (advantageous).
