AC Technician

Role Purpose

Maintain, repair, and optimize air conditioning and refrigeration systems across hotel facilities, ensuring operational excellence, equipment reliability, and guest comfort while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance & Repairs

• Carry out preventive maintenance on all types of A/C and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform repair and retrofit work on A/C and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct improvement and maintenance work on all building services and A/C and refrigeration equipment according to standards and requirements.

Operations & Monitoring

• Perform daily start-up, shutdown, and inspection of building services and equipment as per standards and requirements.
• Record and analyze operating logs and utilities.
• Update daily maintenance logs and complete work order forms.
• Maintain tools and equipment.

Emergency Response & Problem-Solving

• Take immediate measures as necessary during emergencies in repair works.
• Respond to complaints from hotel guests and other departments.

Collaboration & Standards

• Work closely with HVAC Technician when required.
• Perform engineering housekeeping work.
• Keep the workplace clean, tidy, and well organized.

Guest & Team Engagement

• Deliver professional, engaging, and friendly service consistently.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in a similar position, preferably in a 5-star hotel or comparable organization.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction and professionalism.
