Role Purpose

Gather, verify, and present news stories and reports through writing, voice recording, and creative visual presentation, while supporting the broader editorial team.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Research

• Gather information and opinions for stories and verify information accuracy.
• Propose ideas for coverage from the field including news, stories, and features in coordination with the team.

Content Production

• Work, review, edit, and deliver assigned stories and reports as directed by producers.
• Write and record voice-over (LVO) for assigned stories and breaking news.
• Develop creative ideas for final news presentation through a combination of illustration, maps, and graphics paired with the story.
• Write scripts after reviewing available video content.

Team Support

• Advise or coach fellow colleagues as required.
