Waver – Quad Bike Operations

Role Overview

Waver – Quad Bike Operations with Burjline Builders, supporting safe and efficient quad bike activities at a high-profile tourism project in Qatar.

Role Purpose

Guide and signal quad bike riders at designated operational points to maintain safe separation between quad bikes, pedestrians and other vehicles, and support safe entry, exit, queuing and movement within activity areas.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Safety Signalling

• Guide and signal quad bike riders at designated operational points.
• Use clear hand signals, flags or approved signalling methods to control movement.
• Help maintain safe separation between quad bikes, pedestrians and other vehicles.
• Support safe entry, exit, queuing and movement within designated activity areas.

Visitor Management & Coordination

• Provide basic directions and guidance to visitors and riders.
• Assist with crowd and queue management during busy periods.
• Coordinate closely with Traffic Control, Marshalls, HSE and operational teams.

Safety & Incident Reporting

• Follow all site safety and emergency procedures.
• Identify and immediately report unsafe behaviour, hazards or incidents.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Waver, Traffic Marshal, Flagman, Banksman, Event Marshal, Parking Marshal, Security Officer or similar role preferred.
• Qatar/GCC experience is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Good awareness of traffic and pedestrian safety.
• Able to communicate effectively in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Confident working around moving vehicles/quad bikes and members of the public.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
