Warehouseman

Role Overview

Warehouseman at Alghanim Industries. This role encompasses warehouse activities for both inbound and outbound operations across all assigned business units.

Role Purpose

Execute warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, loading, and dispatch activities. Maintain inventory accuracy and housekeeping standards while supporting daily task targets set by management.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound & Receiving

• Receive goods and ensure accuracy in the receiving process.
• Execute put-away and replenishment activities as assigned.
• De-stuff containers and manage deliveries.
• Assist in stock counting activities.

Order Fulfillment

• Pick orders from the picking list according to priority and management standards.
• Place picked orders into the appropriate staging area.
• Advise Team Leader of any discrepancies.

Loading & Dispatch

• Load vehicles in the appropriate order.
• Support de-stuffing and delivery operations.

Quality & Compliance

• Maintain highest standards of housekeeping and warehouse cleanliness.
• Report damaged or exceptional products to Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards.

Support & Flexibility

• Provide assistance in value-added activities including repacking and labeling.
• Assume other warehouse roles or activities as required by Management or Superior.
• Support Superior in achieving daily task targets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Health & Safety Knowledge and Adherence, including compactor operation.
• SAP Knowledge required.
• Forklift driving (Advantage).

Skills & Competencies

• Basic computer skills including RF (radio frequency) systems.
• Good communication skills; able to read and write in English.
• Team player mentality.
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach to shifting timing.
• Ability to meet performance standards.
