Role Purpose

Support news and business news production by editing stories and reports, assembling visual elements, and preparing content for transmission using linear and non-linear editing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial Support

• Support writers, reporters, and producers in News and Business news with stories and reports editing.
• Edit news elements including picture, audio, and other media components.
• Add shots from the shot-list to prepare content for transmission.

Technical Editing

• Operate linear and non-linear editing machines.
• Provide recommendations about cutting and technical editing alternatives.
• Record information about shots to be compiled in the log sheet of the master media used.

Stakeholder Management

• Interpret the needs and requirements of writers and reporters.
