Role Purpose

Edit television news reports and promotional content with technical proficiency and creative storytelling, delivering broadcast-quality output under deadline pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Editing & Production

• Edit television news reports to broadcast standard.
• Edit television promos with creativity and professionalism.
• Maintain high attention to detail, creativity, and technical accuracy in all deliverables.

Collaboration

• Coordinate with producers and reporters to meet editorial requirements.
• Work effectively within team environments.

Technical Competency

• Apply strong understanding of visual storytelling and news pacing.
• Manage work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in television video editing.
• Proven experience editing television news reports.
• Previous experience in news channels or major media organizations is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Professional and advanced proficiency in Avid Media Composer.
• Strong working experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of broadcast graphics is a plus.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and news pacing.
• Excellent teamwork and coordination skills.
