Role Purpose

To manage underwriting operations and renewals for Individual and SME business in the Middle East and Africa regions, ensuring timely processing, compliance with standards, and continuous process improvement through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Renewals and Policy Setup

• Support renewals for Individual and SME business for Middle East and Africa markets.
• Work on Individual policy set up.
• Prepare Table of Benefits for renewals and new business inceptions for corporate.

Underwriting Operations

• Manage the individual underwriting team mailbox.
• Perform legal check on new quote census.
• Utilize and adhere to internal guidelines and procedures to ensure that all assigned work is processed in a timely manner and meets compliant standards.

Reporting and Analysis

• Generate reports from system and perform the necessary formatting.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with sales team to manage expectations on quote turnaround times.
• Support underwriters in other tasks, as needed.

Process Improvement

• Participate in problem solving activities to define problems, identify root causes, and suggest solutions for continuous improvements of processes and procedures to work more efficiently and effectively.
