Role Overview
Training Coordinator (E2) at HILL International. This role supports the development and delivery of technical training programmes across the organisation.
Role Purpose
Assess employee competency and training needs, develop structured training plans and materials, coordinate classroom and e-learning sessions, and work closely with internal teams, industry experts and external training providers to build organisational capability.
Key Responsibilities
Competency Assessment & Performance Management
- Evaluate current employee competency and manage personnel appraisals.
- Evaluate job performance of employees to determine the effects of training after the end of each session.
- Support employee performance assessments.
Training Programme Design & Development
- Analyze and identify the need for technical training in the company.
- Design an integrated training program.
- Develop training plans for the team.
- Develop training material including outlines, handouts, and other exercises.
Training Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate with industry experts for conducting classroom-style training and workshops.
- Coordinate classroom and e-learning sessions.
- Schedule training sessions through e-learning platforms.
- Ensure all newly hired employees are given the relevant necessary training.
- Collaborate with vendors hired for specialized training programs.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate with employees and discuss technical issues they are facing.
- Work closely with internal teams, industry experts and external training providers.
Programme Evaluation & Improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes.
- Collect feedback from trainers and trainees.
- Make necessary recommendations to make training programs better.
- Recommend improvements based on feedback and business requirements.
Compliance & General Duties
- Inform themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within HILL International.
- Ensure continued compliance with these requirements while employed by HILL.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree in related subject from a credited university.
- Advanced project management certification.
- Minimum 10 years' of overall work experience in relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of professional management processes and procedures.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to conduct training courses using innovative classroom techniques and standard or improvised teaching aids.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to develop training plans for the team.
- Skill in personnel management and administration.
- Arabic language skills (preferred).
