Role Overview

Technical Project & Bid Support for the Energy Systems team at DNV (Det Norske Veritas), based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. UAE National candidates only.

Role Purpose

Support experienced Project Managers, Team Leaders, Business Leads, and Bid Managers in the delivery of technical and advisory projects in the Energy sector across the Middle East and Africa, and in the development of proposals and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination and Delivery

  • Assist in the coordination of Safety Studies, Reliability Studies, and Asset Risk Management projects.
  • Support communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
  • Participate in client meetings and document technical discussions and action points.
  • Contribute to project tracking, reporting, and invoicing under the guidance of a Project Manager.

Business Development and Opportunity Identification

  • Help identify and document potential opportunities for future projects.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Assist in tailoring service offerings to meet client needs and timelines.
  • Support the documentation of commercial discussions and follow-ups using internal tools.
  • Help maintain client engagement records and identify areas for future collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • UAE National with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
  • One to two years of experience in Safety Studies, Reliability Studies, and Asset Risk Management within the Energy sector.
  • Exposure to project execution and technical support activities for Energy sector projects.
  • Experience supporting Bid and Proposal preparation, coordination, and submission activities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, risk assessment methodologies, and engineering safety practices is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting.
