Role Overview

Role Purpose

The Team Member supports the daily operation of the restaurant by taking orders, preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables or service counters.
• Provide detailed information about menu items and daily specials.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Order Management

• Take accurate orders using the POS system.
• Communicate order details to kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted and followed.

Food Preparation and Serving

• Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and procedures.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards.

Table and Area Maintenance

• Monitor guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
• Clear and reset tables quickly for the next guests.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, counters, and kitchen.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment.

Payment Handling

• Present bills to guests and process payments accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment securely.
• Balance cash register at the end of the shift.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant environment preferred (QSR or casual dining).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
