Role Purpose

To develop and implement strategies that drive sustainability efforts, enhance resource efficiency, and minimize environmental impact throughout construction projects while ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Assessment & Analysis

• Evaluate projects for environmental impact and sustainability opportunities.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis related to environmental regulations and best practices.
• Perform environmental impact assessments (EIAs).

Systems & Initiatives

• Design and implement environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives.
• Integrate sustainability into project planning and execution with project teams.

Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for compliance with sustainability standards.
• Draft sustainability reports.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Communicate sustainability progress and initiatives to stakeholders and clients.
• Lead training sessions to educate staff on sustainability practices and environmental compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in environmental sustainability or engineering within the construction industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of environmental policies, sustainability standards, and assessment methodologies.
• Experience in performing environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and drafting sustainability reports.
• Certifications in sustainability-related fields (e.g., LEED, ENVISI) are highly advantageous.
