Role Overview

Supplier Assurance Engineer – Jeddah with RTX (Raytheon), located at a Raytheon subcontractor facility in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, working onsite.

Role Purpose

The International Supplier Assurance Engineer is the primary quality interface between Raytheon and the supply base. This role manages and develops in-country subcontractors, communicates quality requirements and performance feedback to suppliers, and serves as a conduit for quality information across Raytheon teams. You will represent Raytheon's Vision, Values, Strategy and Goals in the international supply base and be a key player in the management of supplier performance and development.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Quality Management

• Interpret quality requirements and assist suppliers in the development of robust processes.
• Assess and develop supplier quality capabilities throughout the product life cycle.
• Deploy effective Supplier Quality Management techniques.
• Work as the liaison between the Program and Subcontractor.

Requirements & Communication

• Ensure flow down of requirements internally and to sub-tier suppliers.
• Conduct collaborative communication with supplier, cross-business teams and customer.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and correct systemic performance issues.
• Implement effective Root Cause Corrective Action.
• Support supplier maintenance efforts such as recurring audits, special process upkeep, and certification maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years experience.
• Experience with Supplier Quality Management working with suppliers to understand and develop product to Raytheon and customer requirements.
• Experience with commercial and aerospace/defense regulations and/or standards including any of the following: AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, ISO-9001, AS9145.
• Experience with Military/Defense or Aerospace Industry specifications and standards.
• Ability to pass a relevant background check.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action processes.
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques.
• Practical knowledge of Aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA.
• Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with customers or partners (both internal and external to Raytheon).
• Experience with control sections, energetics, propulsion, mechanical assemblies, circuit card assemblies, and testing.
• Experience working with Government Agencies in a production floor environment (such as DCMA, MDA, etc.).

Additional Information

• Position Type: Onsite at a Raytheon subcontractor facility, with home location in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
• Travel: Limited travel within Saudi Arabia may be required, not to exceed 25%.
