Structural Design Manager

Role Overview

Structural Design Manager at AHS Properties, a leader in luxury real estate development. This role oversees the structural design aspects of high-end residential and commercial projects.

Role Purpose

Ensure all structural elements are safe, efficient, and aligned with the overall architectural vision while collaborating with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Compliance

• Lead the structural design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Stay current with advancements in structural engineering and construction methods.

Collaboration & Integration

• Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to integrate structural solutions with architectural designs.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve any issues related to structural design during the construction phase.

Analysis & Review

• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and durability of designs.
• Review and approve detailed structural drawings and specifications.

Documentation & Inspection

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design reports and construction details.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably within the luxury real estate sector.
• Proven experience managing structural design projects from concept through completion.
• Strong portfolio illustrating completed structural engineering projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
