Ali & Sons Holding LLC operates through Inter Emirates Motors, a subsidiary that partners with MG, a British motor brand established in the 1920s. Inter Emirates Motors operates six showrooms and five service centres across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Al Ain, with nearly 100 after-sales representatives.

Role Purpose

The Storekeeper ensures timely availability of parts, accurate stock records, proper storage and location management, and effective coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, branches, insurance companies, and internal departments to support efficient workshop and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

Orders & Procurement

• Follow up on parts orders and local purchase orders to ensure timely availability of required parts.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) for local purchases based on workshop and retail counter requirements.
• Prepare stock orders based on system-generated demand through SAP and submit Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) to the PDC.
• Prepare VOR (Vehicle Off Road) orders and coordinate with the Inventory Controller to place the required orders.
• Follow up on VOR orders, monitor their status, and maintain accurate records.

Receiving & Verification

• Receive and verify incoming stock against supplier invoices and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all purchased parts and materials are received in first-class condition, are fit for their intended purpose, and match the approved invoice and purchase requirements.
• Identify, document, and report discrepancies, shortages, or damages in incoming shipments and initiate claims where required.

Inventory Management & Accuracy

• Maintain accurate bin locations and storage identities to ensure parts can be easily located, tracked, and controlled.
• Create and maintain appropriate parts locations and storage systems in coordination with warehouse personnel.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the warehouse location system at all times.
• Control and monitor parts transfers to and from other branches.
• Conduct periodic perpetual inventory counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, and defective parts and report findings to the National Parts Manager.
• Monitor inventory levels and support effective stock planning to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, stock orders, transfers, purchases, and related documentation.

Warehouse Operations & Standards

• Ensure the cleanliness and proper condition of the warehouse, shelving, stock, machinery, and equipment.
• Regularly inspect and report the condition of warehouse machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
• Ensure stock is properly secured and protected against unauthorized access, withdrawal, loss, or damage.
• Ensure warehouse and inventory operations comply with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Strictly follow established SOPs, inventory procedures, and documentation requirements.

Supplier & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate with freight forwarders regarding incoming and outgoing shipments, delivery schedules, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claims for stock damaged during transportation.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department and ensure all required documents, including GRNs, are submitted on time.

General Duties

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the National Parts Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in parts inventory, warehouse operations, automotive parts, or a similar capacity.
• Experience in automotive dealership or workshop parts operations is preferred.
• Experience handling VOR orders, stock transfers, local purchases, GRNs, and inventory counts.
• Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of parts inventory management, stock control, warehouse operations, and procurement processes.
• Practical experience using SAP or similar ERP/inventory management systems.
• Good understanding of warehouse storage, bin management, stock location systems, and inventory accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and inventory issues.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of standard computer applications.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with suppliers, branches, freight forwarders, insurance companies, and internal departments.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities while meeting operational deadlines.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
