Role Purpose

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining inventory within the company's warehouse or project site. The role involves receiving, inspecting, recording, and issuing materials, tools, and equipment while ensuring accurate stock levels and proper documentation in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Reception and Verification

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials and supplies.
• Record and update stock movement in the inventory system or manual register.

Storage and Organization

• Maintain proper storage, labelling, and arrangement of items for easy identification and access.
• Ensure that all goods are stored under proper conditions to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the storage area.

Material Issuance and Control

• Issue materials and supplies based on approved Material Request Forms (MRF).
• Handle the return of defective or excess materials to suppliers or the main warehouse.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Conduct periodic stock checks and prepare inventory reports.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.

Coordination and Compliance

• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
• Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and procedures always.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Management Studies.
• Storekeeper experience.
