Store Manager

Role Overview

Store Manager at Apparel Group. The role manages all retail store operations, staff performance, and sales execution to achieve company objectives while maintaining brand standards and customer service excellence.

Role Purpose

Lead store operations end-to-end, maximize sales and customer loyalty, ensure brand compliance, supervise retail staff, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining operational efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue

• Brief and guide staff on achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Apply creative techniques to achieve and exceed store sales targets.
• Ensure required stock levels to maximize sales.
• Promote the Loyalty Program and Club Apparel Loyalty Program of the company for maximizing loyalty and repeat sales.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to effectively respond to and anticipate customer needs.
• Possess knowledge of various brands in the group for suggestive selling to customers.

Staffing & Development

• Provide the highest levels of customer service support to retail staff.
• Ensure staff have the skills and support required for maximizing sales.
• Manage the daily roster, leave, and grievances of retail staff.
• Supervise the store and provide feedback to the Area Manager and Operations Manager with regards to employees and products.

Store Operations & Compliance

• Implement operating procedures at the store as per company and brand standards.
• Ensure brand and company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff at all times.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards at the store at all times as per set VM standards.
• Ensure minimal stock loss and manage stockrooms effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of new products, trends, and fashion directives at all times.
• Weekly audit store administration and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Security & Environment

• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence.
• Maintain a fashionable and well-groomed appearance and set standards for staff.
• Be physically fit to stand for extended hours and heavy lifting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Retail management experience required.
• Fashion or apparel industry background preferred.
