Role Overview

Store Associate, Retail Operations at Landmark Group. The position is based in a retail store environment and focuses on maximizing sales through exceptional customer service while maintaining retail operations standards.

Role Purpose

The Store Associate is responsible for maximizing sales through exceptional customer service and maintaining desired retail operations, customer service, replenishment, and recovery standards across the assigned department in all aspects.

Key Responsibilities

Shop Keeping and Store Standards

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed according to standard layout norms, including product placement, signage, neat and well-folded arrangements ordered from smallest to largest, and steamed and organized hanged items by brand and size.
• Ensure all products are price tagged and bar-coded before display.
• Ensure correct rotation of stock on shelves and assist in accurate stock counts as per store requirements.
• Ensure all stock administration (stock count, inter-branch transfer, dispatch, and delivery) are recorded on the system in time, accurately, and correctly categorized.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and grooming etiquettes in store at all times.

Security and Vigilance

• Maintain awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence.

Store Merchandise and Merchandising

• Maintain detailed knowledge of the merchandise and products stocked in the store.
• Ensure promotions and fast-selling lines are featured in the store.
• Provide information about customer likes, dislikes, and opinions to the department in charge.
• Ensure effective stock replenishment to the store and assure continuous stock availability, ongoing recovery, and maintenance.
• Ensure effective implementation of visual merchandising principles within the store.

Customer Service

• Greet and meet all customers promptly and politely as they enter the store.
• Provide customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Guide customers throughout the store or to the specific area the customer requests.
• Develop a clear understanding of all departments, products, makes, features, and after-sales service.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma.
