Stock Coordinator

Role Overview

Stock Coordinator at Apparel Group. Responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing merchandise for use in the shop.

Role Purpose

The Stock Coordinator ensures accurate receipt, quality control, and efficient storage of merchandise while maintaining security and housekeeping standards and supporting sales staff with stock availability.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

• Receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically to ensure accuracy of information.
• Inspect the quality of products and report discrepancies to the store manager or assistant store manager about damaged products.
• Check for missing price tags and report the same.

Storage & Organization

• Classify and stock products in the stock room as per store procedures to ensure quick availability.
• Tag newly arrived stock or return products as per instruction of senior staff.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping.

Stock Availability & Support

• Assist sales staff in replenishing stocks on shelves to ensure product availability at all times.
• Assist during stock take processes.

Inventory Management

• Record inventory inward and outward and maintain reports of the same.

Security & Operations

• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without negligence.
• Maintain flexibility to work extended hours during sale and festival periods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Physical fitness required.
• Ability to heavy lift minimum 10 kg weight.

Skills & Competencies

• Heavy lifting capability.
• Attention to detail in counting and inspecting merchandise.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
