Role Overview

Senior Engineer, Structural at Alfanar in Dar, Saudi Arabia. DAR Engineering is a leading design and engineering consulting organization engaged in Power Generation, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, Health Care, and High Rise Buildings.

Role Purpose

Lead structural engineering work, direct and develop subordinate engineers, and ensure delivery of projects against operational and development targets while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Train subordinates and form effective teams to execute work.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate assignments to subordinates according to their respective roles.
• Ensure fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation.

Project Delivery & Operations

• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Resolve operational problems and escalate complex issues appropriately.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure quality requirements and develop effective quality control processes, including specifications for products, processes, and related activities.
• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within your defined area of work activity.
• Guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Reporting & Process Management

• Provide periodic reports detailing deviation and execution of planned tasks.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
• 6 to 10 years of experience.
