Sr. Network Specialist

Role Overview

Senior Network Specialist at Agility. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure.

Role Purpose

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure that meets organizational needs while remaining secure and reliable. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network issues in close collaboration with the IT team.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Implementation

• Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements.
• Configure and maintain network equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

Operations & Maintenance

• Monitor and optimize network performance.
• Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as software upgrades and patch management.
• Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network administration or a related role.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with network security technologies.
