Role Overview
Sr. Manager, SMB Benefits at Visa. This role is based on-site with a requirement of at least 3 days in office per week, with specific expectations to be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Role Purpose
The Sr. Manager, SMB Benefits plays a central role in developing Visa's small business benefits proposition. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, partnerships, and commercialization, responsible for sourcing and negotiating high quality benefit partners that elevate the Global SMB value proposition. The Sr. Manager will partner with the broader Visa benefits organization, local stakeholders including product and sales leads, external partners, finance, accounting and more to run the global benefits organization as a business unit within Visa Commercial Solutions Small Business product team.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development and Management
- Define and execute the regional partner sourcing strategy for SMB benefits, including identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic benefit providers that lead to winning value propositions globally.
- Partner with local markets to identify, package and commercialize the most attractive benefit packages.
- Partner with VCS global colleagues to define and prioritize needed benefit enrollment and management features and capabilities.
- Ensure each benefit provider is aligned to the overall Visa 2030 product strategy and can communicate the vision with customers, partners, and internally within Visa.
- Establish and standardize processes to ensure a simplified sales, implementation and onboarding model to support scale, in collaboration with each regional product and sales lead.
- Develop training materials and technical guides for each benefit and region.
- Support development of sales and go-to-market documentation.
- Educate and empower regional teams to drive client adoption and market penetration.
- Serve as subject matter expert for the portfolio of Visa Global SMB Benefits, both internally and externally with Visa clients.
- Develop KPIs and monitor performance for each benefit and regional benefit portfolios.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and enable flawless execution.
Qualifications & Experience
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree.
- At least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- 2 or more years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
- Deep product management experience within commercial and B2B payments and Small Business software, including agentic capabilities and advanced small business software providers.
- Prior experience with cardholder incentives or card products.
- Experience developing thoughtful narratives to drive the value proposition of each benefit through to adoption.
- Proven track record of developing and executing a product vision for successful products based on deep understanding of customer needs.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements with external partners.
