Role Overview
Senior Finance Analyst at Visa, based in Dubai. The role assesses IT control design and tests operating effectiveness across Visa's in-scope key financial systems and applications as part of the Global SOX Team.

Role Purpose
Support SOX 404 testing for IT controls and related projects under manager direction, including understanding complex IT processes and control areas. Assess IT control design and test operating effectiveness to strengthen financial system governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Testing and Assessment
- Review walkthrough documentation and test control effectiveness.
- Meet with control owners to understand processes and assess control design.
- Document test results in Visa workpaper templates for SOX team and external auditor review.
- Assess control exceptions with management and support remediation action plans.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support IT controls meetings with control owners, external auditors, and SOX team members.
- Communicate clearly with control owners, IT teams, auditors, and SOX stakeholders regarding control assessments and issues.
- Manage day-to-day control-related interactions with external auditors.
- Report identified issues to appropriate parties.
Planning and Execution
- Contribute to planning and executing the annual IT SOX program.
- Support non-SOX project execution and documentation as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience with a relevant bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree such as a Master's or MBA.
- ACCA, CISA, or other relevant qualification preferred.
