Sr. Executive

Role Overview

Sr. Executive at Al Ghurair. A technically competent engineer to support engineering projects, troubleshoot technical issues, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and contribute to the safe, efficient, and timely completion of projects and operations.

Role Purpose

Plan, execute, and monitor engineering activities in accordance with project requirements and company standards while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Plan, execute, and monitor engineering activities in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Participate in meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews.

Technical Documentation & Design

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, reports, and other engineering documentation.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation.

Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination

• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients as required.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating materials and equipment.

Inspection, Testing & Troubleshooting

• Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities where applicable.
• Identify technical problems and develop effective solutions.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.

Continuous Improvement

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant years of engineering experience.
• Relevant professional certification or engineering license is an advantage.
