Role Overview

Specialist - Logistics at Majid Al Futtaim. The role manages day-to-day operational supply chain and logistics for Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, maximizing process efficiency and productivity while delivering seamless supply chain operations that meet business objectives in a time and cost-efficient manner.

Role Purpose

Own end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations for assigned merchandise areas, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining compliance with approved processes and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Execution

• Execute end-to-end supply chain activity for the assigned area (Merchandise).
• Monitor daily replenishments to stores, launch deliveries, store returns, and orders and deliveries of Merchandise and non-Merchandise items based on Visual Merchandising and Marketing requirements.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage and maintain the Request for Quotation (RFQ) as per the end-to-end process and the Service Level Agreements approved by the compliance team.
• Validate all Service Provider invoices to ensure that charges are consistent with the agreed terms.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance & Registration

• Register products with relevant regulatory bodies and ensure that all certificates are up to date.

Billing & Finance

• Submit billing invoices in relevant systems and ensure processing by FSSC on time.

Stakeholder Communication

• Provide exemplary customer service to all stakeholders by providing relevant and timely information for sound business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, logistics, or relevant field.
• 3–5 years' experience in supply chain or logistics.
• Exposure to a high-volume transaction multi-site retail organization is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
