Specialist, Drilling Engineering (Fluids) at ADNOC, Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose
Ensure safe and efficient drilling operations through optimization of drilling programs, development of innovative techniques, data analysis, and comprehensive well integrity management.
Key Responsibilities
Drilling Program Development and Optimization
- Prepare and optimize drilling programs to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement innovative drilling techniques and technologies.
- Supervise directional drilling and anticollision strategies to ensure safety and accuracy.
Data Analysis and Improvement
- Examine and analyze drilling data to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze subsurface pressures, borehole stability, and rock mechanics to ensure drilling integrity.
Operational Troubleshooting and Support
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve operational challenges during drilling activities.
- Advise on blowout contingency plans and hazard identification strategies.
Casing and Cementing Design
- Review and advise on casing design and material selection for various drilling projects.
- Develop and review cementing design and operations for optimal well integrity.
Well Suspension and Abandonment
- Execute well suspension and abandonment plans in compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling engineering or related roles.
- Certification in Well Control (e.g., IWCF or IADC) is required.
- Additional certifications in drilling operations are preferred.
