Role Overview

Specialist / Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist at Astra ProMed, Dubai. Full-time position.

Role Purpose

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, manage complex cases, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes within a leading healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Diagnosis

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies, where qualified.
• Perform gynecological examinations, procedures, and surgeries within the scope of practice.
• Provide comprehensive care for menstrual disorders, infertility, menopause, and other reproductive health concerns.

Patient Education & Counselling

• Conduct prenatal counselling and patient education.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.

Compliance & Records

• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.

Quality & Education

• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at Specialist or Consultant level.
• Strong knowledge of modern obstetric and gynecological treatment protocols.
