Role Purpose
Deliver exceptional spa treatments and personalized wellness experiences that exceed guest expectations while embodying Anantara's philosophy of heartfelt hospitality. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene, and service excellence while contributing to the spa's financial success through treatment and retail sales.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Welcome guests warmly and conduct comprehensive wellness consultations before treatments.
- Personalize treatments based on guest needs, preferences, and health conditions.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Anantara Spa standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and create memorable wellness journeys.
- Handle guest concerns promptly, professionally, and discreetly.
- Build guest loyalty by encouraging repeat visits and promoting wellness programs.
Spa Treatments
- Perform professional treatments including Anantara Signature Massages, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Thai Massage (where certified), Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Body Scrubs and Wraps, Facial Treatments, and Beauty Treatments (where qualified).
- Follow all Anantara Spa treatment protocols and standards.
- Maintain accurate guest consultation records and treatment history.
Retail & Revenue
- Recommend retail products suited to guests' individual needs.
- Promote spa memberships, wellness packages, and seasonal promotions.
- Achieve individual retail sales and treatment revenue targets.
- Maximize treatment room utilization through effective scheduling and upselling.
Operational Excellence
- Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment.
- Ensure all rooms are clean, well-presented, and fully stocked.
- Maintain treatment equipment in excellent working condition.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Participate in stock counts and inventory control.
Hygiene & Safety
- Adhere to all hygiene, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization of equipment and treatment tools.
- Comply with hotel health and safety policies.
- Maintain guest confidentiality at all times.
Teamwork
- Support colleagues to ensure smooth spa operations.
- Attend all training sessions, departmental meetings, and wellness workshops.
- Assist with spa events, promotions, and wellness activities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, or a related discipline.
- Internationally recognized spa certification preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
